Hi.
Today I’m going to talk about how to format a Microsoft Word document with your digital NAATI stamp attached.
The first place to start is to get your digital NAATI stamp.
I’ve shared before how to put a link to download your stamp directly from the website.
Here we’ll click the link,
enter in the password and email and enter in the two-factor authentication code.
Then you can download your stamp immediately.
Next step is to go to your Microsoft Word document where you will be affixing your translation.
At the top we’ll have a statement you’re translating from this direction and the sou rce
On the second page.
I’ll get the downloaded NAATI stamp and drag and drop it into the document.
But as you see the size is huge.
The first step is to wrap the text.
Here we can right click and go down to wrap text and choose in front of text.
This means we can now move the stamp to anywhere we like.
I like to put it in the bottom right and we can adjust it to a more suitable size.
So there,
and it can fit well there.
Then when we copy we can paste it on the second page and it’ll,
it’ll retain that same size.
Next we have the certification statement that we need to add here.
On my other documents I have got a couple saved so I’ll grab those copy and paste into the translation.
Here it says translation,
translated from an electronic copy,
dates converted for Thai,
and also my generic certification statement.
This just goes on the first page.
I stamp the first and the second page.
Once you get the hang of that,
it ends up being quite simple and quite quick.
I’ll leave the link for the instructions how to get that bookmark for your NAATI stamp below.
I hope you enjoy your day.
Thank you.
